The Sport-Thieme children’s lightweight gymnastics mat forms part of the basic equipment for children’s gymnastics and school sport. The mat’s core is made from high-quality Alveo foam, with a cover made from polygrip gymnastics mat material, the mat is lighter than standard gymnastics mats – although significantly firmer. This means that even children can quite easily carry these gymnastics mats. In addition, the children’s lightweight gymnastics mats are fitted with practical carrying handles or hook-and-loop corners. The hook-and-loop corners mean that several gymnastics mats can be combined together (lengthways and crossways) to create a larger surface area.
